Nchelenge is a small town located in the Luapula Province of Zambia. It is situated on the shores of Lake Mweru, Which borders Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The town has a population of approximately 10, 000 people and is known for its fishing industry. The main economic activity in Nchelenge is fishing, With Lake Mweru providing an abundant supply of fish such as tilapia and catfish. The fish are caught using traditional methods such as nets and traps, And then sold at local markets or exported to neighboring countries.
