Nizhnevartovsk is a city located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Which is a federal subject of Russia. The city is situated on the banks of the Ob River, Making it an important center for transportation and commerce. The history of Nizhnevartovsk dates back to the early 20th century when oil was discovered in the region.
