Nowgong, Also known as Nagaon, Is a city located in the Indian state of Assam. It is situated in the central part of the state and is surrounded by hills and forests. The city has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when it was ruled by various dynasties including the Ahoms, Mughals, And British. One of the main attractions in Nowgong is its wildlife sanctuary which covers an area of over 70 square kilometers.
