Puning is a city in Guangdong Province, China. It is located on the northern bank of the Han River and covers an area of 2, 620 square kilometers. The city has a population of around 1.2 million people. The Big Buddha Temple (Dafo Si) is one of Puning’s most famous attractions. It houses a giant statue of Guanyin, The Buddhist goddess of mercy, Which stands at an impressive 66 meters tall.
