Qaraghandy, Also known as Karaganda, Is the fourth-largest city in Kazakhstan and is located in the central part of the country. The city was founded in 1857 as a small settlement for workers who were building a nearby copper mine. Today, Qaraghandy is a major industrial center that produces coal, Iron ore, And other minerals.
