Raigarh is a city situated in the eastern side of Chhattisgarh, India. It is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, Natural beauty and industrial development. The city has a population of over 1 lakh people and is rapidly growing into a major urban center. The history of Raigarh dates back to ancient times when it was ruled by various dynasties such as Mauryas, Satavahanas and Nagavanshis. The city was named after Raja Raghuji Bhonsle, One of the prominent rulers during the Maratha period.

Raigarh played an important role in India’s struggle for independence as it was one of the centers for revolutionary activities. Raigarh’s natural beauty can be attributed to its location at the foothills of Chota Nagpur Plateau.
