Sarai Alamgir is a small town located in the Gujrat district of Punjab province, Pakistan. It’s situated about 15 kilometers away from the city of Gujrat and lies between two major rivers, Chenab and Jhelum. The town has a rich history dating back to the Mughal era and was named after one of Emperor Akbar’s generals. The natural scenery in Sarai Alamgir is breathtaking with lush green fields and hills. The fertile land produces various crops such as wheat, Rice, Sugarcane, And vegetables.

Over time, It has also become an important industrial hub with several factories producing textiles, Ceramics, Furniture and other products. 3. In 1947, when Pakistan gained independence from British India, many Hindus and Sikhs migrated from Sarai Alamgir to India while Muslims moved in from India to settle in the town.
