Sawrān is a small town in the Diyala Governorate of Iraq, Located about 60 kilometers northeast of Baghdad. The town has a population of around 20, 000 people and is known for its agriculture and livestock production. Sawrān is surrounded by lush green fields where farmers grow crops such as wheat, Barley, And rice. The history of Sawrān goes back to ancient times when it was part of the Babylonian Empire.
