Sports Teams

  1. Shanghai Shenhua F.C. was founded in 1951 and has won three Chinese Super League titles and two Chinese FA Cups. The club has also participated in various international competitions, including the AFC Champions League.
  2. Shanghai SIPG F.C., established in 2005, is now one of China’s top football teams. They have won one Chinese Super League title, three Chinese FA Cups, and reached the final of the AFC Champions League in 2019.
  3. The basketball team Shanghai Sharks was founded in 1996 and is owned by former NBA star Yao Ming. They have won two CBA championships (2002 and 2019) and produced notable players such as Liu Wei and Jimmer Fredette.
