Sīkar is a culturally significant city located in the northwestern state of Rajasthan, India. The city boasts of magnificent palaces, Temples and havelis that showcase its rich history. The Sikar Fort is one of the most popular attractions in Sīkar. Built by Maheshwari Rajputs in the 17th century, It has now been converted into a heritage hotel. The fort’s architecture reflects Rajasthani style with large gates and intricate carvings on walls and balconies that offer stunning views of the city. Harshnath Temple is another famous attraction in Sīkar that dates back to 10th century AD.

This ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva has beautiful architecture with intricate carvings on its walls depicting various mythological stories. Sīkar also has several havelis or traditional mansions worth visiting such as Bawdi Haveli which showcases exquisite frescoes painted on its walls along with beautiful jharokhas (balconies).
