Smithtown is a lovely town located on Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The town was established in 1665 and named after its founder, Richard Smith. It has a population of around 120, 000 residents and covers an area of 111 square miles. One of the most famous landmarks in Smithtown is the Smithtown Bull, A bronze statue situated at the intersection of Main Street and Route 25A. The statue represents the legend that Richard Smith rode his bull to mark out the boundaries of his land grant from King James II.

Smithtown also offers several parks and nature preserves where visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, Biking, Fishing, And boating. Blydenburgh County Park has over 600 acres of wooded trails along with campsites for overnight stays.
