Sparks is a city located in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. It is situated east of Reno and forms part of the Reno-Sparks Metropolitan Area. The population of the city is approximately 105, 000 people and it covers an area of 35 square miles. The town was established as a railroad town in the early 1900s and quickly became a significant hub for transportation and commerce. Today, Sparks remains an essential center for industry with major employers such as Tesla Motors, Sierra Nevada Corporation, And Amazon. Victorian Square is one of the most popular attractions in Sparks.
