Tieli is a small city located in the northeastern part of Heilongjiang Province, China. It is situated on the banks of the Songhua River and surrounded by lush green forests. Tieli has a population of around 300, 000 people and covers an area of approximately 13, 500 square kilometers. The city has a rich history dating back to the Qing Dynasty when it was known as Tieling. During this time, It served as an important trading hub for fur and timber products.

Tieli also played a significant role in China’s industrialization during the 20th century when it became a major center for coal mining and heavy industry.
