Tongchuan is a city located in the northwestern part of China’s Shaanxi Province. The city sits on the Wei River, Which connects it to other major cities such as Xi’an and Luoyang. Tongchuan has a rich history dating back over 2, 000 years when it was established as a military fortress during the Han Dynasty. The city is home to many historical attractions that showcase its ancient past. One of its most well-known landmarks is the Yaozhou Kiln Site Museum, Which displays pottery and porcelain artifacts from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

Another popular site is the Tongchuan City Wall, Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Still standing today.
