Vallejo is a city in Solano County, California, USA. It is located on the northeastern shore of San Pablo Bay, Approximately 30 miles northeast of San Francisco. The population of Vallejo is around 120, 000 people and it covers an area of about 49 square miles. Vallejo was established in the mid-1800s as a shipping and transportation center for goods from San Francisco to Sacramento. Its strategic location at the entrance to Napa Valley made it one of the busiest ports on the West Coast. Today, Vallejo’s economy is based on healthcare, Education, Retail and tourism.
