Yıldırım is a district in Bursa, Turkey that was named after Sultan Bayezid I, Also known as Yıldırım Bayezid for his swift military campaigns. The district covers 106 square kilometers and has around 700, 000 residents. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Bursa and has a rich history dating back to the Ottoman Empire.
