Zhangzhou is a city located in the Fujian province of China, Known for its rich history, Beautiful scenery, And delicious food. With a population of over 4 million people, It is one of the largest cities in Fujian. One of the most popular attractions in Zhangzhou is the ancient city wall built during the Ming Dynasty that has stood for over 600 years. Visitors can walk along the top and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Mount Wuyi is another popular attraction with some of China’s most stunning natural scenery including waterfalls, Hot springs and lush forests.

Visitors can hike or take a cable car up to enjoy breathtaking views. Zhangzhou is also famous for its seafood cuisine with access to some of China’s freshest seafood like oysters, Clams and fish dishes cooked with ginger and scallions. The city has a rich cultural heritage as an important center for trade during ancient times playing a key role in spreading Buddhism throughout Southeast Asia. Today visitors can explore historic temples like Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster which consists mainly five round earth buildings surrounded by rectangular earth buildings.
