Almetyevsk is a city situated in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located on the left bank of the Zay River, Which is a tributary of the Kama River. The city has a population of around 150, 000 individuals and covers an area of 65 square kilometers. The history of Almetyevsk dates back to the 16th century when it was established as a small village.
