Anguo, Located in the Hebei province of China, Is a small city that covers an area of approximately 1, 200 square kilometers and has a population of around 600, 000 people. The city is easily accessible from other parts of the country as it is situated at the intersection of two major highways. One of Anguo’s most notable features is its rich history and cultural heritage. The city has been inhabited for over 2, 000 years and was once an important center for trade and commerce during the Tang Dynasty.

Visitors can explore many historical sites and landmarks that offer insight into Anguo’s past. The Tianxin Pagoda, Which dates back to the Ming Dynasty, Is one such landmark. This seven-story tower stands at over 40 meters tall and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Another popular attraction is the Baogong Temple which honors a famous judge from the Song Dynasty known for his honesty and integrity. Apart from its historical significance, Anguo also boasts a vibrant agricultural industry.

The city produces Chinese medicinal herbs like ginseng, Wolfberry fruit (also called goji berry), Astragalus root (huangqi), Chinese angelica root (danggui) among others which are well-known throughout China.
