Barnala is a city located in the Indian state of Punjab, Situated in the heart of the Malwa region with a rich history dating back to ancient times. Baba Ala Singh, A Sikh chieftain, Founded this city in 1763. Barnala is well-known for its agricultural produce such as cotton and wheat. The city has several historical landmarks that attract tourists from all over India and beyond. One such landmark is the Barnala Fort built during Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s reign in the early 19th century. The fort still retains its grandeur and majesty despite being in ruins.
