Brāhmanbāria is a district situated in the eastern part of Bangladesh, Bordered by Meghalaya, India to the north, Habiganj and Kishoreganj to the south, Tripura, India to the east and Narayanganj and Narsingdi to the west. The district has a population of approximately 3 million people and is located in the Chittagong division.
