Brampton is a city situated in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. It has a population of over 600, 000 people and is the third-largest city in the province. Brampton has a rich history dating back to the early 1800s when it was first settled by European immigrants.   3. Brampton Thunder was a women’s ice hockey team that played in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) from 1998 to 2019. They were two-time Clarkson Cup champions, which is awarded to the CWHL champions.
