Chuadanga is a district located in the southwestern region of Bangladesh. It is situated on the banks of the Mathabhanga River and shares its borders with India’s West Bengal state. The district has a rich history that dates back to ancient times, And it has been an important center for trade and commerce since then. The district covers an area of 1, 170 square kilometers and has a population of around 1 million people. It is divided into six upazilas (sub-districts) – Chuadanga Sadar, Alamdanga, Damurhuda, Jibannagar, Batia and Doulatganj.
