Gölcük is a small district in the Kocaeli province of Turkey, Situated on the eastern coast of the Sea of Marmara. The district has a population of approximately 150, 000 people and covers an area of about 138 square kilometers. One of Gölcük’s most noteworthy features is Lake Gölcük.
