Hafizabad is a city in the Punjab province of Pakistan, Located on the banks of the Chenab River. It is about 110 kilometers away from Lahore, The provincial capital. The city has a long history dating back over 5, 000 years with evidence of human settlements found in the area. The name Hafizabad comes from a famous Sufi saint named Hafiz Muhammad Hayat who lived in the area during Mughal rule. The city boasts several historical landmarks that attract tourists and visitors from all over Pakistan and beyond, Including the Hafizabad Fort which served as a military outpost for centuries.

In addition to its rich history, Hafizabad is also known for its agricultural produce such as rice and wheat.
