Hafizabad is a city in the Punjab province of Pakistan, Located on the banks of the Chenab River. It is about 110 kilometers away from Lahore, The provincial capital. The city has a long history dating back over 5, 000 years with evidence of human settlements found in the area. The name Hafizabad comes from a famous Sufi saint named Hafiz Muhammad Hayat who lived in the area during Mughal rule.
