Horlivka is a city located in the eastern part of Ukraine, Specifically in the Donetsk Oblast region. The city is situated on the banks of the small Korsun River, Which flows into the larger Siverskyi Donets River. With a population of around 250, 000 people and covering an area of 107 square kilometers, Horlivka has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when it was founded as a small mining town.
