Isanlu is a small town located in the Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. It shares borders with Kwara State to the north and Ekiti State to the east. The town has a population of approximately 20, 000 people and is predominantly inhabited by members of the Yoruba ethnic group. Isanlu has a rich history dating back to pre-colonial times when it was an important trading center for goods such as cotton, Kola nuts, And palm oil. The town played a significant role in the trans-Saharan trade route that connected West Africa with North Africa and Europe.

Today, Isanlu remains an important commercial hub for agricultural produce such as yams, Cassava, Maize, And vegetables. One notable landmark in Isanlu is the Odundun Shrine which is believed to be over 500 years old. The shrine serves as a sacred site for traditional worshipers who come from far and wide to offer prayers and sacrifices to their deities. Another notable attraction in Isanlu is its unique architecture which features several mud houses with intricate designs.
