Iwata, A city in the Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan, Is located on the eastern coast of Honshu Island and has a population of around 165, 000 people. The city was founded by Iwata Katsuyoshi as a castle town in the early 17th century and named after him. The city has many landmarks and attractions that showcase its rich history and culture.
