Jincheng is a city located in the Shanxi Province of China, Covering an area of approximately 9, 500 square kilometers. The city has a population of over 2 million people, Making it one of the largest cities in the province. Jincheng has a rich history that dates back to over 3, 000 years ago. The city was once known as Yuci and was an important center for trade and commerce during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). Today, Jincheng is known for its coal mining industry and is home to several large coal mines.

One of the most popular attractions in Jincheng is its ancient city wall. The wall was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and stretches for over 6 kilometers around the old town area.
