  4. Shehu Musa Yar’Adua: Shehu Musa Yar’Adua was a prominent Nigerian politician who served as Vice President from 1979 to 1981 under President Shehu Shagari. He spent much of his life in Kaduna despite being born in Katsina.
  5. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa: Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was Nigeria’s first Prime Minister from 1960 until his assassination in January 1966. Despite being born and raised in Bauchi, he collaborated with leaders from other parts of northern Nigeria, including Kaduna during his political career.

Ahmadu Bello: Ahmadu Bello played an essential role as the Sardauna (traditional ruler) of Sokoto during the colonial era and after independence when he became one of northern Nigeria’s most important politicians. Before his death during the first military coup d’état on January 15th, 1966, he had contributed significantly to shaping modern-day Nigeria’s federal system and economic policies.
