1. Club Deportivo El Nacional was founded in 1964 and is one of the most successful football clubs in Ecuador, having won 13 national titles. Their home games are played at Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa.
2. Liga Deportiva Universitaria, also known as LDU Quito, was founded in 1930 and has won the national title 11 times. They play their home games at Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado.
3. Sociedad Deportivo Quito was founded in 1940 and has won the national title twice. Their home games are played at Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa.
