Kaihua is a county-level city located in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province, China. It is situated between Hangzhou and Wenzhou and covers an area of 1, 916 square kilometers with a population of over 400, 000 people. The city has a rich history dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) and was formerly known as Wu County before being renamed Kaihua during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The city is famous for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, With many scenic spots such as Xianju National Park, Longyou Grottoes, Huzhou Nanxun Ancient Town and Qiandao Lake.
