Kandhkot, A city in northern Sindh province of Pakistan, Sits on the right bank of Indus River. The river serves as a source of water for irrigation and transportation. With a population of around 200, 000 people, Kandhkot is an important commercial center for the surrounding rural areas. Agriculture is the primary source of income in Kandhkot. Cotton is one of the major crops grown in the region due to fertile soil and availability of water from Indus River.
