Kasugai is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It’s situated in the central part of Honshu Island and shares borders with Nagoya City to the south. The city spans an area of around 92 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 310, 000 people. The name Kasugai comes from the Kasuga Shrine, Which was built during Japan’s Heian period (794-1185). The shrine is one of Japan’s oldest and has been designated as a National Treasure that attracts many visitors annually.
