Kota is a city in southern Rajasthan, India with a rich cultural heritage and historical significance. It was once the capital of the Rajput kingdom of Bundi and has seen many battles between different dynasties including Mughals and Marathas. With a population of over 1 million people, Kota is one of the largest cities in Rajasthan. The city is also an important industrial hub with large-scale industries such as cement, Power generation, Textiles, And engineering.

One popular tourist attraction in Kota is the Kota Garh Palace or City Palace built by Maharao Madho Singh II during his reign from 1889 to 1922.
