Logan is a city in northern Utah, USA, And the county seat of Cache County. It has a population of around 50, 000 people and is home to Utah State University. The town was founded in 1859 by Mormon pioneers and named after an early settler in the area. During World War II, Logan played a significant role as it housed one of four internment camps for Japanese Americans. However, Nowadays Logan is known for its beautiful natural surroundings as it sits at an elevation of 4, 534 feet and is surrounded by mountains on all sides.

1. The Bear River Massacre occurred on January 29, 1863, when the U.S. Army attacked a Shoshone encampment in present-day Franklin County, Idaho. It resulted in the deaths of an estimated 250-300 men, women and children.
