Namangan is a city located in the eastern part of Uzbekistan, Situated at an altitude of 475 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Namangan Region and one of the largest cities in the Fergana Valley. The city has a population of approximately 500, 000 people and covers an area of 30 square kilometers. Namangan has a long history dating back to ancient times, With evidence suggesting that it was inhabited as early as the Bronze Age. The city played an important role in the development of trade along the Great Silk Road, Connecting China with Europe.
