Ōakashichō is a small town in Japan’s Shizuoka Prefecture, Located near Mount Fuji. The name means large oak town and refers to the oak trees that once grew in the area. With a population of around 7, 000 people and an area of approximately 23 square kilometers, Ōakashichō has a rich history dating back to ancient times.
