Paraná is a province located in the northeastern part of Argentina. It shares borders with Brazil to the north, Uruguay to the east, And other Argentine provinces to the south and west. The capital city of Paraná shares its name with the province, Which can cause some confusion. The geography of Paraná varies greatly throughout the region.   2. Club Atlético Unión de Santa Fe, although not situated in Paraná, has a significant following within the Entre Ríos province. It was founded in 1907 and has spent most of its history playing at lower levels but has had some success at higher levels.
  3. Club Atlético Paraná was established in 1908 and mostly played at an amateur level before joining the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) in 1986. They are presently competing in the regional Liga Paranaense de Fútbol.
  4. Club Defensores del Oeste is based out of Concordia, founded back in 1920, and has accomplished some success on a regional level by winning multiple titles over time.
  5. Asociación Cultural y Deportiva La Armonía was created by Italian immigrants to Argentina near Gualeguaychú; they mainly play at an amateur level but have won several regional championships over time.
  6. Juventud Unida Universitario (Gualeguaychú) is another club from Gualeguaychú that was founded relatively recently back in 2007 but has already achieved promotion to higher divisions within Argentine football.
