Pulilan is a second-class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. It covers an area of 31.20 square kilometers and has a population of around 100, 000 people. The town is known for its agricultural industry and is situated on the eastern part of the province. One of Pulilan’s most famous events is the Carabao Festival or Fiesta ng San Isidro Labrador which celebrates the town’s patron saint and pays tribute to carabaos or water buffalos. Decorated carabaos are paraded around town while locals engage in various activities such as street dancing and traditional games.
