Purwakarta is a regency situated in the West Java province of Indonesia, Located approximately 70 kilometers east of Jakarta. Covering an area of about 971.72 square kilometers, This region is home to a diverse population consisting of Javanese, Sundanese, Betawi, And Chinese ethnic groups. The name Purwakarta is derived from two words: purwa meaning ancient or olden times and karta meaning city or town. The region has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times when humans lived in caves and hunted using stone tools.

Tourists visiting Purwakarta should not miss out on Mount Parang (Gunung Parang), Which stands at an elevation of 700 meters above sea level and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
