Qarshi, Or Karshi, Is a city situated in southern Uzbekistan along the Qashqadaryo River. Its history dates back to the 4th century BC when it was founded by the ancient Persian Empire. One of Qarshi’s most famous landmarks is Khoja Adbul Aziz Madrasah, An Islamic school built in the 17th century with intricate tilework and ornate carvings.
