San Fernando is a first-class city located in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. It is known as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines due to its grand and colorful Christmas celebrations that attract tourists from all over the world. The city is also called La Ciudad de San Fernando and was named after Saint Ferdinand III of Castile. San Fernando has a rich history that dates back to pre-colonial times when it was ruled by Kapampangan chieftains.
