  4. Asociación Deportiva Ramonense: Founded in 1956, the team was based in San Ramón until it disbanded due to financial problems.
  5. Asociación Deportiva Guanacasteca: Founded in 1946, the team was originally from Liberia but moved to Nicoya before disbanding due to financial problems.
  6. Puntarenas Fútbol Club: The team was founded as Puntarenas FC (2004-2010) before changing its name to Puntarenas FC Golfito (2010-2012) and then relocating to Golfito as Golfito FC (2012-2013). They played their home games at Estadio Allen Riggioni Suárez during their time as Puntarenas FC.
