  4. Liu Bei, a central figure during the Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD), is said to have passed through Shacheng on his way to meet Zhuge Liang.
  5. Artifacts discovered from tombs dating back to Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) provide insight into life during this period and have been found in and around Shacheng.
  6. Zhao Kuangyin, founder of the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD), is believed to have visited Shacheng while he was emperor.
