Shanwei is a coastal city located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, China. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Dapeng Bay and surrounded by mountains and sea. The city covers an area of around 2, 200 square kilometers and has a population of over three million people. Shanwei has a long history that dates back to the Qin dynasty (221-206 BC). During this time, It was called Nanhai County and was known for its rich natural resources such as salt, Fish, And timber.
