Skikda is a port city in northeastern Algeria, Near the Mediterranean Sea. It is the capital of Skikda Province and has a population of around 250, 000 people. The city was founded by Phoenician traders in the 3rd century BC and has been an important trading center ever since. Skikda’s beautiful beaches are one of its main attractions.
