Taihe is a small county in the northeastern part of Jiangxi province, China. It is located on the banks of the Fu River and surrounded by mountains on all sides. Taihe has a rich history that dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), And it was an important center for trade and commerce during ancient times.     1. One of the most notable battles fought in Taihe was the Battle of Feishui during the Eastern Jin dynasty in 383 AD. This battle was fought between the Jin forces and Liu Song dynasty, and Taihe served as one of the key battlefields.
    2. Hong Xiuquan was a Hakka Chinese who led the Taiping Rebellion against Qing dynasty rule from 1850 to 1864. He was born in Hua County, which is now part of Taihe.
    3. Li Hongzhang played an important role during China’s late Qing dynasty as a prominent statesman and general who modernized China’s military and diplomatic efforts while negotiating several important treaties with foreign powers on behalf of China. He was born in Qinyang (now part of Taihe).
    4. The Huaihai Campaign took place during the Chinese Civil War between 1948 and 1949 when Communist forces under Mao Zedong sought to defeat Nationalist forces under Chiang Kai-shek’s Kuomintang government. During this campaign, Taihe served as one of many battlegrounds.
    5. Liu Bang (also known as Emperor Gaozu) founded ancient China’s Han dynasty after overthrowing Qin Shi Huang’s short-lived Qin dynasty around 206 BC near modern-day Taihe.
    6. Cao Cao lived during China’s Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD) known for his military prowess and political savvy particularly his ability to unite northern China under his control before being defeated by rival warlords; he was born in Qiao (now part of Taihe).
