Myanmar Festivals

1. Taungoo Thiho Shin Pagoda Festival

   This festival is held annually during the full moon day of Tabaung (February/March) and lasts for 10 days. It is one of the most important festivals in Taungoo and attracts thousands of visitors from all over Myanmar.

2. Thingyan Water Festival

   This festival is celebrated throughout Myanmar in mid-April to mark the beginning of the Burmese New Year. People splash water on each other as a symbol of washing away their sins and starting anew.

3. Shwe Kyun Pin Nat Pwe
